State of the Soul of the Nation (SSONA)

What’s more important than the state of a nation? The state of the soul of a nation. President Noynoy, we hope you are listening. Passage of the RH bill will be a slippery slope that will inevitably lead our country into the depths of a darkness from which we might not recover.

In Spring 1983, then-US-president Ronald Reagan penned this unsolicited article for The Human Life Review:

Every legislator, every doctor, and every citizen needs to recognize that the real issue is whether to affirm and protect the sanctity of all human life, or to embrace a social ethic where some human lives are valued and others are not. As a nation, we must choose between the sanctity of life ethic and the “quality of life” ethic…. we cannot survive as a free nation when some men decide that others are not fit to live and should be abandoned to abortion or infanticide.

Your people are speaking; hear us. We don’t want to follow in the footsteps of nations where many have forgotten the real value, the sanctity, of human life.
